My interest in technology and computers started at an early age. I remember opening the case of my familys desktop and marveling at the Motherboard, CPU, and many wires. At the time, I did not know this fascination would lead to a career, I was simply drawn to the aesthetics of what was inside that old machine. The years following kept technology at a distance from me, being used in school as a tool mainly for accessing the Microsoft Suite for projects unrelated to truly understanding the technology I was using.
I had developed an instatible love of games and gaming during these years. Pokemon, Smash Bros, Age of Empires, and Spyro being some of my favorites. My first exposure to Game Development came in the form of a Game Jam hosted by Pirate Software. The concepts of theme, art style, collaboration, and scope all came into focus during this Jam, though the project was never finished, ultimatley. That breif exposure cleared any doubts I had about what I wanted to do with my future; becoming a Game Developer was now my goal and passion. Over the summer of 2025, I set out to learn about I found out quickly there is more than meets the eye when making a game. My first obstacle was understanding the scope of the tasks at hand. I pride myself on my ambition, though learning to swim is more important than proving you can jump into the deep end of the pool.
